Computer Lab
The school understands the importance of Information Technology in today’s world and has
built a state of art and well designed LAN enabled computer lab. The computer lab is equipped with mutiple switches and has a broadband line of 10 mbps serving
the students and staff of the school. All students above class III undergo mandatory computer classes.
he school’s IT centre comprises separate computer laboratories for junior, middle
and senior classes. This centre provides invaluable skills and knowledge which is essential for students to grasp the concept of Information Technology.
The labs have a high-speed internet connection facility thus permitting a high-quality internet surfing experience under supervision. The school believes
in an integrated approach to all subjects using computers as a tool, to promote practical and hands-on learning for students. Hence, computer classes are
compulsory for students from I to VIII. The motive is to integrate computer education into all subjects to enhance learning outcomes rather than focusing on
computers as a stand-alone subject. Computer science is offered as an elective subject at +2 stages. The school boasts of a child to computer ratio of 1:1.
The IT centre contains the best software available in the very competitive world we live in. The IT centre also houses the school servers and online portal
to maintain students’ academic and co-curricular records and all required facets of highly automated school administration.
